The Struggle

I have to be completely honest and let you all know that I have had some struggles with this work at home experience. Don't get me wrong though. I am able to make good money writing online. The problem is that I still get frequent interuptions from family and friends that keeps me from accomplishing everything I want to accomplish. That could be due to the fact that I haven't put my own advice into action about ignoring calls and learning how to say no.

It isn't that I mind helping out family and it isn't even that I mind talking to friends. It just seems to have gone a little bit overboard and it is stressing me out beyond belief. That's okay though. I never expected it to be easy for people to accept my job as a job since I don't leave my house to do it. I sure hope they begin to figure out why it's so important for me to do it though. It isn't just about the money. I want to make this a success and that means that I will have to spend a huge amount of time writing and promoting. As time goes on, I see much progress in the residual payments from Helium and from Associated Content. I still very much enjoy the work and would like to continue on with it. I want to prove that it can be done and that eventually, the time that I spend writing will lessen more and more as time goes on.

I have recently begun to promote my work more and more. That seems to be a big help. I may be doing more and more of that so look for my name to be all over the internet soon. I do not regret the decision to stay home to work. It has been very rewarding although at times difficult. When I get some free time, I just breathe, that's all I have time to do!
